## NAME

mtext\_chr -

## SYNOPSIS

int **mtext\_chr** (**MText** \* *mt*, int *c*)

## DESCRIPTION

Return the position of the first occurrence of a character in an M-text. The **mtext\_chr()** function searches M-text **mt** for character **c**. The search starts from the beginning of **mt** and goes toward the end.

## RETURN VALUE

If **c** is found, **mtext\_chr()** returns its position; otherwise it returns -1. \
