## SYNOPSIS

**MText**\* **mtext** ()

## DESCRIPTION

Allocate a new M-text. The **mtext()** function allocates a new M-text of length 0 and returns a pointer to it. The allocated M-text will not be freed unless the user explicitly does so with the **m17n\_object\_unref()** function. \
