## NAME

msgperm - read and optionally alter the permissions for a message queue

## SYNOPSIS

**msgperm** id permissions

## DESCRIPTION

**msgperm** returns the current permissions on the message queue specified by *id* and if *permissions* were given, attempts to set the new permissions on the message queue. The permissions must be given in numeric form and can not be given by letters.
