  **read\_concern**: A pointer to a *mongoc\_read\_concern\_t*.

## DESCRIPTION

Returns true if **read\_concern** has not been modified from the default. For example, if no "readConcern" option is set in the MongoDB URI and you have not called *mongoc\_client\_set\_read\_concern()*, then *mongoc\_read\_concern\_is\_default()* is true for the read concern returned by *mongoc\_client\_get\_read\_concern()*.
