## NAME

mkhdimage - creates an empty hard disk image

## SYNOPSIS

**mkhdimage** \[ **-h** *heads* \] \[ **-s** *sectors* \] \[ **-c** \| **-t** *cylinders* \]

## DESCRIPTION

**mkhdimage** creates an empty hard disk image that can be used by **DOSEMU**. The result is written to the standard output.

## OPTIONS

- **-h**

  Set the number of heads to *heads*. the default is 17.

- **-s**

  Set the number of sectors to *sectors*. the default is 4.

- **-c, -t**

  Set the number of cylinders to *cylinders*. the default is 40.
