## SYNOPSIS

**mkc\_compiler\_settings**

## DESCRIPTION

**mkc\_compiler\_settings** checks compiler capabilities and store initial settings required by **mk-configure** to\
 *~/.mkcmake/mkc\_imp.cc\_${CC\_TYPE}-${CC\_VERSION}.mk* or\
 *~/.mkcmake/mkc\_imp.cxx\_${CXX\_TYPE}-${CXX\_VERSION}.mk* files for C and C++ compilers respectively.

## ENVIRONMENT

- **CC**

  C compiler to check.

- **CXX**

  C++ compiler to check.

- **USE\_CC\_COMPILERS**

  A space-separated list of C compilers to check. This variable has higher priority than *CC*.

- **USE\_CXX\_COMPILERS**

  A space-separated list of C++ compilers to check. This variable has higher priority than *CXX*.
