## NAME

memprof - memory profiler and leak detector.

## SYNOPSIS

**memprof** \[ **--follow-fork**  \] \[ **--follow-exec**  \] \[ **program**  \] \[ **-- program -arg1 -arg2 arg3**  *...* \]

## DESCRIPTION

**memprof** is a tool for profiling memory usage and detecting memory leaks. It can be used with existing binaries without need for recompilation.

## OPTIONS

- **--follow-fork**

  Create new windows for forked processes.

- **--follow-exec**

  Retain windows for processes after exec().
