Weather daemon gates nws data to packet radio

Usage

wxd [options]

wxd-start [options]

Overview

This manual page documents briefly the wxd, and wxd-start commands. The most up to date version can be found at http://www.rf.org/wxd

wxd This daemon acts as a gateway of weather service data between the United States National Weather Service data infrastructure, and the amateur radio service's packet radio network.

Unless you are installing a packet gateway at an NWS office, you probably don't want this.

Options

The programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below. For a complete description, see the docs mentioned above.

Files

Defaults are in

/etc/init.d/wxd
/etc/wxd/ports
/etc/wxd/filter
/usr/sbin/wxd
/usr/sbin/wxd-start
