Overview
This manual page documents briefly the update-bbstyles style menu update script.
update-bbstyles This program is designed to be used in conjunction with Brad Hughes' Blackbox window manager. It can be used in two modes for creating or updating the style menu on your system.
Update
In update mode, the stylemenu in /usr/share/blackbox/styles is read. The new style is inserted at the proper lexicographical (alphabetical) location in the style as decided by comparing the style titles. The filename from the command line is verified for existance before the update will proceed. Both the title and the filename are required for the update to take place.
Build
This creates a brand-new style menu in /usr/share/blackbox/styles based on the files present in the /usr/share/blackbox/styles directory. It ignores the stylesmenu itself.
WARNING: Because the blackbox style format does not contain meta-data for the title, this information is lost when running a build. In this mode, the filenames are used for the title. The stylemenu may be hand-edited to provide the desired title where the filename is not appropriate.
Remove
This removes the style "Title" from the styles menu in the /usr/share/blackbox/styles directory.
