rexxtk(1)

rexxtk1

Interface to tcl/tk libraries for regina rexx

Usage

rexxtk [OPTIONS] [FILE]

call RxFuncAdd 'TkLoadFuncs','rexxtk','TkLoadFuncs'

call TkLoadFuncs

Overview

rexxtk is an extension library for regina(1) that provides access to the Tk Graphic User Interface Toolkit.

Rexx/Tk can be used in one of two ways. The first is to run a rexx script as an argument to rexxtk, optionally using the switches described below.

The more common usage is to load the rexxtk function package with the Regina built-in function RxFuncAdd() (the second SYNOPSIS example.) Note that the rexx script must be invoked with /usr/bin/regina, not /usr/bin/rexx.

Options

-i

Accept Rexx/Tk commands from stdin.

-d

Run in debug mode. Mainly used when diagnosing a problem.

-v

Run in verbose mode. Mainly used when diagnosing a problem. Parameter values passed into a function and result information are traced. Also values of Rexx variables set by Rexx/Tk are traced.

-f

File in which output from -v and -d is dumped. By default trace output is dumped to stderr.

Documentation

/usr/share/doc/rexxtk/doc/index.html has detailed information on some functions but isn't complete yet.

Also see the Tk Library documentation in the Tcl/Tk distribution.

/usr/share/doc/rexxtk/Quickstart.txt shows how to get a quick feel for this package.
