ccount(1)

ccount1

Program that counts lines of c code. is close to compliance with spr counting rules.

Usage

ccount files ...

Overview

The main output number from ccount is non-comment source statements (NCSS). It will also report the number of PROCEDUREs + FUNCTIONs, comments, blank lines, and total source lines. NCSS is estimated by counting the number of semicolons, not counting those in string constants or comments. A line that contains a semicolon and a comment will be counted in both categories.

Bugs

ccount(1) does not count macro definitions, nor does it handle if statements correctly. It could be easily fixed.
