malsync-prc-install - fetch and install AvantGo Palm application on a Palm pilot

## SYNOPSIS

**malsync-prc-install** \[*options*\]

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **malsync-prc-install** command. This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because this script was created for the Debian package.

**malsync-prc-install** is a program that fetch and install AvantGo Palm application.

The script uses **wget** to get .tgz the archive from the Web. You need to be connected to the Internet and have **wget** working correctly. You may have to configure the environment variable http\_proxy. You can have look at the **lynx** command manpage to get information about http\_proxy.

The script then uses **pilot-xfer** to transfer the three .prc files to the Palm pilot.

## OPTIONS

These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (\`-'). A summary of options is included below. For a complete description, see the Info files.

- **-5**

  installs AvantGo 5.2 for PalmOS 5.x instead of the default AvantGo 4.2 for PalmOS \< 5.0

- **-h, --help**

  Show summary of options.

- **-v, --version**

  Show version of program.
