mailscanner\_create\_locks - a script to create the lockfile used by MailScanner.

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **mailscanner\_create\_locks** options.

This manual page was written for the Debian(TM) distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

**mailscanner\_create\_locks** is helper script for MailScanner, a freely distributable E-Mail gateway virus scanner and spam detector. mailscanner\_create\_locks the locksfiles for MailScanner and ensures they are no symlinks and have the right ownership and permission.

The directory for the lockfiles is configured in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf.
