# lsi-write(1)

Send a message to a slack user or channel.

## NAME

lsi-write - Send a message to a slack user or channel.

## SYNOPSIS

lsi-write \[OPTIONS\] user

## DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the classical write, this works more or less in the same way.\
It uses the control socket of a localslackirc instance to send messages to a user or channel.

### Options:

- **-h, --help**

Show the help message and exit.

- **--control-socket CONTROL\_SOCKET**

If the path to the socket cannot be auto-detected, this option must be used to indicate the path to connect to the control socket.\
If there is only one instance running, the control socket will be autodetected and used.
