It will process the XML file *xml\_file* using the XSL stylesheet **xsl\_file**. The XSLT processor run is selected by the value of the XSLT\_PROCESSOR variable. Supported values are 'none' or 'xsltproc'. The result of the stylesheet is output on STDOUT. Top-level variables can be set in the stylesheets by adding assigments. They are of the form *name*=*value*. For example : number\_to\_show=10. When passing string value, you have to include quotes around the value like in 'name="Francis"'. (The single quotes are to prevent the shell from removing the quotes around the value). ## BUGS Currently, only [*xsltproc*(1)](/xsltproc/1.md) is supported.
