NAME

lr_db_store - store Lire meta data in the Lire db

SYNOPSIS

lr_db_store tag key value

DESCRIPTION

lr_db_store serves as an interface to the Lire database. This database contains meta information on objects being processed by the Lire system: logfiles, reports, and possibly more things. Each object is identified by a tag. Properties of the object are designated by key's.

Currently, the database is implemented as a (bunch of) flat ascii file(s), living in the file, pointed to by the environment variable LR_DBFILE. (Set to .../var/lib/lire/data/meta/index in .../etc/lire/defaults.)
