lpkg - Newton package loader
SYNOPSIS
lpkg [-d device] [-f] [-h] package
DESCRIPTION
This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
lpkg is a program to install Newton packages onto a Newton device from a Linux machine, through a serial connection.
OPTIONS
- -d device
-
Specify the device file for communicating with your Newton device. The default is /dev/newton.
- -f
-
Set the speed to 115200 bps. The default is to use 38400 bps. To use this mode you need to install FastSerialConnection.pkg first on your Newton device, and select FastSerial in the Connection dialog.
- -h
