vdeplug module for point to point connections using UDP

## NAME

libvdeplug\_udp - vdeplug module for point to point connections using UDP

## SYNOPSIS

libvdeplug\_udp.so

## DESCRIPTION

**libvdeplug\_udp** creates a point to point connection between two vde supporting tools using UDP. This module of libvdeplug4 can be used in any program supporting vde like **vde\_plug**, **kvm**, **qemu**, **user-mode-linux** and **virtualbox**.

The network connection created by this module is not encrypted so the data transferred can be intercepted by network analyzer programs.

The vde\_plug\_url syntax of this module is the following:

**udp://**"\[*src\_address***:**\]*src\_port***-\>***dest\_address***:***dest\_port*"

## EXAMPLES

**udp://"2000-\>host\_b.domain\_b.org:3000"**\
 **udp://"3000-\>host\_a.domain\_a.org:2000"**\
 These are the vde\_plug\_urls to use at host\_a.domain\_a.org and host\_b.domain\_b.org respectively to create a connection between port 2000 at host\_a and port 3000 at port\_b.
