# libressl-X509\_SIG\_get0(3)

DigestInfo functions

## NAME

**X509\_SIG\_get0**, **X509\_SIG\_getm** – DigestInfo functions

## SYNOPSIS

Crypto Library (libcrypto, -lcrypto)

**#include \<openssl/x509.h\>**

*void*\

**X509\_SIG\_get0**(*const X509\_SIG \*sig*, *const X509\_ALGOR \*\*palg*, *const ASN1\_OCTET\_STRING \*\*pdigest*);

*void*\

**X509\_SIG\_getm**(*X509\_SIG \*sig*, *X509\_ALGOR \*\*palg*, *ASN1\_OCTET\_STRING \*\*pdigest*);

## DESCRIPTION

**X509\_SIG\_get0**() returns pointers to the algorithm identifier and digest value in *sig*. **X509\_SIG\_getm**() is identical to **X509\_SIG\_get0**(), except the pointers returned are not constant and can be modified, for example to initialise them.

## SEE ALSO

## HISTORY

**X509\_SIG\_get0**() and **X509\_SIG\_getm**() first appeared in OpenSSL 1.1.0 and have been available since OpenBSD 7.1.
