## DESCRIPTION

**SSL\_SESSION\_get\_protocol\_version**() returns the protocol version number used by the session *s*.

## RETURN VALUES

**SSL\_SESSION\_get\_protocol\_version**() returns a constant like TLS1\_VERSION or TLS1\_2\_VERSION.
