## SYNOPSIS

**\_\_u16 libnvme\_mi\_ctrl\_id** **(struct libnvme\_transport\_handle \*hdl** *);*

## ARGUMENTS

- hdl

  transport handle to controller to query

## DESCRIPTION

Retrieve the ID of the controller, as defined by hardware, and available in the Identify (Controller List) data. This is the value passed to *libnvme\_mi\_init\_transport\_handle*, but may have been created internally via *libnvme\_mi\_scan\_ep*.

## RETURN

the (locally-stored) ID of this controller.
