search LDAP entries

## NAME

ldaptor-search - search LDAP entries

## SYNOPSIS

**ldaptor-search** \[*options*\] *filter-expression*

## OPTIONS

- **--base=**

  LDAP base dn

- **--service-location=**

  Service location, in the form BASEDN:HOST\[:PORT\]

## DESCRIPTION

**ldaptor-search** performs a search below the given search base on the server specified by **--service-location** using the given LDAP filter expression.

## RESULT

**ldaptor-search** returns the LDAP entries matching the filter-expression in LDIF format.
