## DESCRIPTION

Delete an entry from a directory tree (synchronous operation).

## PARAMS

*ld* **\[In\]**  Pointer to an **LDAP** context.

*dn* **\[In\]**  **DN** of the entry to delete.

*serverctrls* **\[In\]**  Array of **LDAP** server controls.

*clientctrls* **\[In\]**  Array of **LDAP** client controls.

## RETURNS

**Success:** **LDAP\_SUCCESS**

**Failure:** An **LDAP** error code.

## NOTES

The *serverctrls* and *clientctrls* parameters are optional and should be set to **NULL** if not used.
