DESCRIPTION
Connect to an LDAP server.
PARAMS
ld [In] Pointer to an LDAP context.
timeout [In] Pointer to an l_timeval structure specifying the timeout in seconds.
RETURNS
Success: LDAP_SUCCESS
Failure: An LDAP error code.
NOTES
The timeout parameter may be NULL in which case a default timeout value will be used.
