Checks and fixes the joystick device files

Usage

joystick-device-check

Overview

joystick-device-check is to be used after upgrading to another kernel generation. The major numbers of the joystick device nodes changed between 2.2 and 2.4, so you probably won't be able to use your joystick devices via the old device files. joystick-device-check will look on /dev/js*, and recreate the files if needed.

From joystick 20010903-2 in Debian 3.1 (Sarge). Parsed by carta from the page's man source.
