## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **interdaemon** command. This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

The **interdaemon** program is a gateway between the **postman** cgi-bin and the IMAP and NTTP servers. It opens a connection to the NNTP or IMAP server for each user session and keeps it open until the user closes it or after a period of inactivity.

Look at the sample config file */usr/share/doc/postman/examples/interdaemon.cfg* for a summary of options.\
