updates the IMDB cache for files in a given directory.

## NAME

imdb-update-cache — updates the IMDB cache for files in a given directory.

## SYNOPSIS

**imdb-update-cache** \[*directory*\]

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the  **imdb-update-cache** command.

**imdb-update-cache** finds all files under  a given directory and ensures that there is IMDB data in  the cache for that file. If not, IMDB is searched based on  the filename.
