## NAME

iiwusynth - MIDI synthesizer

## SYNOPSIS

**iiwusynth** \[*options*\] *soundfont1 soundfont2*...

## DESCRIPTION

**iiwusynth** reads and handle MIDI events from the MIDI input device. It can read and handles them, just like a hardware MIDI synthesizer would do.

## FEATURES

- Uses Soundfont v2.1 files.

  - Provides: resonant filter, volume envelope, modulation envelope, vibrato LFO,

  modulation LFO, pitch bend, reverb and Hermite cubic sample interpolation.

## OPTIONS

This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (\`-').

- **-a, --audio-driver=\[label\]**

  the audio driver \[oss,alsa,...\]

- **-A, --audio-device=\[device\]**

  the audio device.

- **-m, --midi-driver=\[label\]**

  the midi driver \[oss,alsa,...\]

- **-M, --midi-device=\[device\]**

  the midi device.

- **-h, --help**

  Show summary of options.
