## SYNOPSIS

**ickle\_applet** \[*options*\]

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **ickle\_applet** commands.

**ickle\_applet** is a GTK+ ICQ client. Using the ICQ2000 protocol it is capable of using new icq features like sending sms messages to mobile phones. In contrast to **[ickle(1)](/ickle/1.md)** **ickle\_applet** has GNOME panel support. Right click on your GNOME panel and add the Ickle ICQ applet from the Network section to your panel.

## OPTIONS

A summary of options is included below.

- **-h**

  Show summary of options.

- **-b** *dir*

  Use this parameter to set the **ickle\_applet** base directory to *dir*. It defaults to **$HOME/.ickle.** If you use this option the configuration files are searched in *dir* instead
