NAME

hsc, hscdepp, hscpitt - HTML development tools

IMPORTANT

This documentation is not being maintained, the HTML documentation is the authoritative source. It can be found in /usr/doc/hsc/docs and should be readable with any web browser, including lynx.

For a short list of command line options enter hsc --help. Please note that this programm was originally developed on an Amiga system so the way of parsing arguments may look a little bit strange to you, although it is very similar to the new GNU --argument=value style.

DESCRIPTION

hsc is an HTML preprocessor, which means it takes a so called hsc file and generates pure HTML as output. It parses some special tags to implememt macros, include files, evaluate expressions, etc.

hscdepp is a dependency generator for Makefiles, hscpitt is a project management tool for special project files used by hsc.
