## NAME

hptalx — HP48, HP49 Series communications GTK program

## DESCRIPTION

The **hptalx** program is a communications   tool for HP48 and HP49 Series calculator owners. This powerfull   scientifics calculator are fully programable and configurable and it's  posible to upload data or programs from or to a computer. This GPLed  software let us p.e. download tools from Internet to the HP and run!.  HPTalx uses Kermit or XModem protocol, it's needed to install CKermit,  stty and lrzsz in order to communicate with HP.

This manual page was written for the **Debian GNU/Linux** distribution  because the original program does not have a manual page.  Instead, it has documentation in the GNU       **Info** format; see below.
