## NAME

gwavp - play a GSM compressed wave audio file

## SYNOPSYS

**gwavp** \[ *filename* \]

## DESCRIPTION

**gwavp** will play a  *PCM* encoded wav file via */dev/dsp.* and then decompresses the data with the GSM algorithm.  This will only work with gwavr which compresses the data. All that is required as a parameter is  *filename* which is the name of the file to be played.  Without arguments  **gwavp** will output a brief message describing its usage.
