## SYNOPSIS

**gvd** \[options\] executable-file \[--dargs \[debugger options\]\] \[--pargs \[program options\]\]

Use DEBUG as the underlying debugger.

- **--jdb**

Assume that the underlying debugger is a Java-specific debugger.

- **--host HOST**

Run the underlying debugger on host HOST. This option is typically used for debugging an embedded system.

- **--target=TARG:PRO**

Load program on machine TARG using protocol PRO.

- **--log-level \[0-4\]**

Set level of logging. Default is 3.

- **--editor-window=xid**

Use xid as the editor X window.

Use the controlling tty as an additional console for the debugger. **--version** Show the version of the current GVD.
