## NAME

gss\_inquire\_names\_for\_mech - API function

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<gss.h\>**

**OM\_uint32 gss\_inquire\_names\_for\_mech(OM\_uint32 \*** *minor\_status***, const gss\_OID** *mechanism***, gss\_OID\_set \*** *name\_types***);**

## ARGUMENTS

- OM\_uint32 \* minor\_status

  (Integer, modify) Mechanism specific status code.

- const gss\_OID mechanism

  (gss\_OID, read) The mechanism to be interrogated.

- gss\_OID\_set \* name\_types

  (gss\_OID\_set, modify) Set of name-types supported by\
     the specified mechanism.  The returned OID set must be freed by\
     the application after use with a call to **gss\_release\_oid\_set()**.

## DESCRIPTION

Returns the set of nametypes supported by the specified mechanism.

## RETURN VALUE

\`GSS\_S\_COMPLETE\`: Successful completion.
