# grubclient(1)

opensource distributed networked searchengine client

## NAME

grubclient - opensource distributed networked searchengine client

## SYNOPSIS

**grubclient** \[**-q**\] \[**-v**\] \[**-vv**\] \[**-f** *file*\] \[**-l** *directory*\] \[**-h**\] \[**-V**\]\
 **grub\_safe**

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **grubclient** and **grub\_safe** commands. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

**grubclient** is a client for an open source distributed networked search engine. It requests URLs to check from the server, checks them and return results to the server. **grub\_safe** is a quick method to start grubclient in the background.

## OPTIONS

**grub\_safe** doesn't take any option at all. It's only useful to start **grubclient** in the background in quiet mode. The options described here are the ones for **grubclient**:

- **-q**

  forces quiet mode (no gui)

- **-v**

  verbose (forces console mode)

- **-vv**

  super verbose (forces console mode)

- **-f file**

use alternate configure file (use absolute path)

- **-l directory**

use alternate log and lock file director (use absolute path)

- **-h**

  print the help message

- **-V**

  show version number
