Query the online Dutch Van Dale dictionary.

## NAME

**gnuvd** – Query the online Dutch Van Dale dictionary.

## SYNOPSIS

**gnuvd** *\[-h\]* *word*

## DESCRIPTION

**gnuvd** is a commandline frontend for the online Van Dale dictionary. It will search any word in the dictionary and return it's description in Dutch.

## OPTIONS

*-h* will show a brief usage message. *-k* keep html entities (i.e. è)

## NOTES

You need to have an active internet connection in order to use this program. Also, if you're behind a proxy-server, you have to set the http\_proxy environment variable as in Lynx.
