## NAME

gnutls\_priority\_set - API function

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<gnutls/gnutls.h\>**

**int gnutls\_priority\_set(gnutls\_session\_t** *session***, gnutls\_priority\_t** *priority***);**

## ARGUMENTS

- gnutls\_session\_t session

  is a **gnutls\_session\_t** type.

- gnutls\_priority\_t priority

  is a **gnutls\_priority\_t** type.

## DESCRIPTION

Sets the priorities to use on the ciphers, key exchange methods, and macs. Note that this function is expected to be called once per session; when called multiple times (e.g., before a re-handshake, the caller should make sure that any new settings are not incompatible with the original session).

## RETURNS

**GNUTLS\_E\_SUCCESS** on success, or an error code on error.
