## NAME

gnutls\_dh\_params\_export2\_pkcs3 - API function

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<gnutls/gnutls.h\>**

**int gnutls\_dh\_params\_export2\_pkcs3(gnutls\_dh\_params\_t** *params***, gnutls\_x509\_crt\_fmt\_t** *format***, gnutls\_datum\_t \*** *out***);**

## ARGUMENTS

- gnutls\_dh\_params\_t params

  Holds the DH parameters

- gnutls\_x509\_crt\_fmt\_t format

  the format of output params. One of PEM or DER.

- gnutls\_datum\_t \* out

  will contain a PKCS3 DHParams structure PEM or DER encoded

## DESCRIPTION

This function will export the given dh parameters to a PKCS3 DHParams structure. This is the format generated by "openssl dhparam" tool. The data in  *out* will be allocated using **gnutls\_malloc()**.

If the structure is PEM encoded, it will have a header of "BEGIN DH PARAMETERS".

## RETURNS

On success, **GNUTLS\_E\_SUCCESS** (0) is returned, otherwise a negative error code is returned.
