## DESCRIPTION

The  **gmail** program launches the gmail graphical email client.

Upon first launch the gmail druid will take the user step by step through the setup process. Gmail requires **GNOME** and a **MySQL server**

Much more informaiton, including a FAQ, can be found in the online help and in the tarball release of gmail.

## HISTORY

The gmail project began in March 1999, when even the Balsa Gnome email client was quite unusable. It has also been used by the author as a sample project for learning Gnome and GTK programming.
