# gl\_expandfont(3)

expand a packed pixel font

## NAME

gl\_expandfont - expand a packed pixel font

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<vgagl.h\>**

**void gl\_expandfont(int** *fw***, int** *fh***, int** *c***, void \****sfp***, void \****dfp***);**

## DESCRIPTION

Convert a bit-per-pixel font at *sfp* with 256 characters of size (*fw*, *fh*) to an expanded font of character pixmaps, stored at *dfp* (size will be 256 \* *fw* \* *fw* \* **BYTESPERPIXEL**). All non-zero pixels are set to color *c*.

It is possible to use non expanded fonts (but it is slower) when the **FONT\_COMPRESSED gl\_setwritemode**(3) flag is set.
