DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the generate_passwd command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
generate_passwd is a program to des encrypt a password like Unix. It prompts for the password to encrypt. You can optionally supply a salt to verify a password.
