# gearman\_argument\_t(3)

Gearmand Documentation, https://gearman.org/gearmand/

## NAME

gearman\_argument\_t - Gearmand Documentation, https://gearman.org/gearmand/

## SYNOPSIS

\#include \<libgearman/gearman.h\>

- **type gearman\_argument\_t**

  - ***gearman\_argument\_t* gearman\_argument\_make(const char \*name, const *size\_t* name\_length, const char \*value, const *size\_t* value\_size)**

  Compile and link with -lgearman

## DESCRIPTION

The *gearman\_argument\_make()* function initializes *gearman\_argument\_t*.

*gearman\_argument\_t* is an abstraction used passing arguments too *gearman\_execute()*. The arguments are not copied, so any object that is used to initialize *gearman\_argument\_t* must continue to exist throughout the lifetime/usage of the structure.
