command-line Gnome Basic controller

NAME

gb - command-line Gnome Basic controller

SYNOPSIS

gb [ generic-options ] [ --debug=level ] project-file

DESCRIPTION

Gnome Basic is an embryonic attempt to provide Visual Basic compatible functionality for the GNOME project, particularly with respect to office (VBA) compatibility.

gb is the command-line Gnome Basic controller. It is used to execute the given Gnome Basic project in the interpreter. Gnome Basic project files generally end in .vbp.

Note that Gnome Basic is no longer under active development. It is expected that Mono Basic will replace Gnome Basic as the preferred Visual Basic interpreter.

OPTIONS

Below are the gb-specific options. For a full summary of options, run gb --help.

--debug=level

Enable some debugging functions.
