## NAME

fixperm - check/fix permissions on files

## SYNOPSIS

**fixperm** **\[ --check \| --update \]**

## DESCRIPTION

*fixperm* A Linuxconf module for checking the permission on many of the critical executables, files and directories on the system.

## OPTIONS

- *--check*

  Checks the current system for incorrect file permissions and presents them to the user for further action.

- *--update*

  Fixes any file permission problems discovered.
