firestring\_estr\_sprintf(3) with an estring format

## SYNOPSIS

 **-lfirestring**

**long firestring\_estr\_sprintfe(struct firestring\_estr\_t \****out***, struct firestring\_estr\_t \****format***,** *...***)**

## DESCRIPTION

firestring\_estr\_sprintfe() behaves exactly like **firestring\_estr\_snprintf**(3) except that it takes an estring format argument, so the format can contain arbitrary binary data.  However, please note that user user-input data as the format string is **INSECURE**.

## RETURN VALUE

Returns the number of bytes written to *out*.
