## NAME

firestring\_conf\_add - add an entry to a configuration structure

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<firestring.h\>**\
 **-lfirestring**

**struct firestring\_conf\_t \*firestring\_conf\_add(struct firestring\_conf\_t \****next***, const char \****var***, const char \****value***)**

## DESCRIPTION

firestring\_conf\_add() adds an entry to the configuration structure *next* with variable name *var* and the value *value.* This function is provided to allow programs to manually add configuration settings.

## RETURN VALUE

Returns a new pointer for the configuration structure.  This pointer should be used in all future operations.
