firedns\_resolveip6 - Resolve a hostname to an IPv6 address

## SYNOPSIS

**struct in6\_addr \*firedns\_resolveip6(const char \* const** *name***)**\
 **struct in6\_addr \*firedns\_resolveip6\_r(const char \* const** *name***)**

## DESCRIPTION

firedns\_resolveip6() attempts to resolve the hostname *name* to an IPv6 address.

## RETURN VALUE

Returns a pointer to an internal static *struct in6\_addr* that contains the IP address of *name* in binary format, or *NULL* on error.
