Resolve a list of A records of a hostname

## NAME

firedns\_resolveip4list - Resolve a list of A records of a hostname

## SYNOPSIS

**#include \<firedns.h\>**\
 **-lfiredns**

**struct firedns\_ip4list \*firedns\_resolveip4list(const char \* const** *name***)**\
 **struct firedns\_ip4list \*firedns\_resolveip4list\_r(const char \* const** *name***)**

## DESCRIPTION

firedns\_resolveip4list() attempts to resolve a list of A records for the hostname *name*.

## RETURN VALUE

Returns a pointer to an internal static *struct firedns\_ip4list \**. This structure is the first of a linked list.  It contains:

	struct in\_addr ip;\
\
 	struct firedns\_ip4list \*next;

This function returns NULL on error.
