firedns\_aton6 - convert a colon seperated IPv6 address to binary format

## SYNOPSIS

**struct in6\_addr \*firedns\_aton6(const char \* const** *ipstring***)**\
 **struct in6\_addr \*firedns\_aton6\_r(const char \* const** *ipstring***)**\
 **struct in6\_addr \*firedns\_aton6\_s(const char \* const** *ipstring***, struct in6\_addr \****ip***)**

## DESCRIPTION

firedns\_aton6() takes an IPv6 address in colon seperated notation in *ipstring* and returns a *struct in6\_addr* containing the address in binary format.

## RETURN VALUE

Returns a *struct in6\_addr* containing the IP address in binary form, or *NULL* if *ipstring* is not a valid IP.
