## NAME

find-provides, find-requires - find dependency information for rpm building.

## DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the **find-provides**, and **find-requires** commands. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution (but may be used by others), because the original program does not have a manual page.

**find-provides** and **find-requires** are programs that are called by [**rpm**(8)](/rpm/8.md) when it is building rpm packages, to determine dependancy information. They should not be used directly.
